That's an interesting observation - there probably is a watch placed on those directories by the coreservciesd (that does the component registration)

That would be a good thing to bring up on a Carbon list to get this confirmed...

I've just posted my questions to carbon list, and will post a digest to coreaudio list.

I did have an answer from a man from apple staff that says that I should pay apple to have an answer :D (well there was a misunderstanding, it seems that he thought that I was in a hurry for the reply... however I found that very funny)

If I were rich, I would pay them full time to make a good documentation ;)
(I don't mean to offense any one, this is just a reality)
