Input AUs

Is there an ETA for an input AU yet ?

Has anyone had any success pumping external input through a graph ? I haven't actually tried providing external input to an AudioGraph yet, so far I've been using a Device IOProc to pull my audio engine. But now I'm considering using a graph also, can the two methods coexist? Is there a reason why there is no Input AU ? Especially considering that a Device IOProc can happily provide input and output buffers which so far (here at least) are always perfectly in sync with each other. By that I mean that there seems to be no real problem with push-pull in the Device IOProc.

I noticed an earlier post by Robert Grant to which Bill replied "We're considering it for the next OS release". Is there an ETA ?
