Le mardi, 13 mai 2003, ` 12:13 Europe/Paris, Jay Vaughan a icrit :

It is available at : http://airy.andre.online.fr/Mac/SMDI.app.tgz
The source code is there : http://airy.andre.online.fr/Mac/SMDI.tgz
It still beta, works only with ".wav" file and will probably not
work at all with some SCSI cards (the SCSI API models are quite
weird...)

Along similar lines is OpenSMDI:

http://home.t-online.de/home/chrisnowak/opensmdi/

Don't know if you knew of that already Airy, but there you go ...

SMDI use an OpenSMDI port I did for MacOS X (the current OpenSMDI only support Win32 and Linux/x86)
In fact, SMDI was written just to easily test this port...
I hope my changes will be included soon in the official OpenSMDI tree.
FYI, my changes include :
- a driver for MacOS X (support right now only SCSI card with drivers based on IOSCSIFamily)
- some endianess correction to support non-Intel CPU (so it should also works now for Linux/PPC)
