Finding "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components" folder

  • Subject: Finding "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components" folder

Is there a standard, general way of programmatically locating the AU plugin folder (/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components).

The old FindFolder function does not have selectors for OSX folders.

I heard about a function called NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains, but it's not well documented on the Apple site, and examples are in Objective-C.

Should I use the hard-coded paths, or is there a better way?

Thanks,

Shai
