Cyril,

I'm also a little confused about your previous description of the permissions problem - I'd like to understand this better - then we can see if there is something that we can do to help those who are musicians if they come across this problem

So, could you describe exactly what it is that went wrong - I gather the "fix" was to reinstall the G3 software (serial driver I guess), reboot, then the G3 MIDI driver.

Any idea how you got into this problem in the first place?

Thanks for you help

Bill

Its not clear what you mean by "not possible to move". If there are
permission problems you can't do it in the finder, but will have to go into
Terminal and use the sudo command which lets you enter your administrator
password to get around the permissions issue. Is that what you need?

Thanks in advance.
