Q: audio input -> format for QuickTime

  • Subject: Q: audio input -> format for QuickTime

Can anyone point to sample code showing how to get CoreAudio
input data into a format that can then be used by QuickTime?

I've stepped through sample code that shows how to get raw data
from the default input device. What's the easiest way to get it into a
file that QuickTime could understand, play back & convert?
Sample code that does this for at least one format (e.g. AIFF)
would be really great.

Thanks in advance,
Christopher
