I'd love to have a Mac speakerphone. If you need a beta tester let me know. This has been done numerous times on the dark side. There may be some public domain stuff for Linux.

Good luck with it,

Don

Subject: [Newbie] iMac as a speaker phone under X
From: Alan Leigh <email@hidden>
To: Core Audio <email@hidden>

Hi all,

I have a bit of programming experience including cocoa, but know
nothing about coreaudio etc. So in regards to the subject (imac as a
speaker phone under X):

- Is it possible?
- Is it possible for me? :)
- Where should I start looking?

Just to clarify I want to plug the telephone line into my flat panel
imac and use the internal mic and speakers as the phone. I have
holidays coming up so hopefully i will have some time to burn !

*Any* tips would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Al
