Hi All,
I was hoping someone with a bit of knowledge of CoreMidi could give me
some insight.
I have a GeeThree Stealthport and a Keyspan SX-Pro card installed in a
Quicksilver running 10.3.1
When I run the Stealth MIDI Setup application from GeeThree, all four
of the SX-Pro's 4 serial ports appear as potential MIDI serial ports in
addition to the stealth port...

All that seems to be missing is an SX-Pro serial driver from the pop up
menu in order for the ports to be fully recognized by Core MIDI and
Audio MIDI Setup as midi interfaces.
I have tried contacting Keyspan to see if they plan on releasing a
driver, but they have completely ignored repeated contact attempts.
I find it odd that Keyspan have no interest, all they need is that
little driver and they could have they only multi-serial port card on
the market for MIDI. They already have OSX drivers for the card itself.
How hard is it to write a serial midi plugin? Can the stealth driver be
modified to work with the SX-Pro? How would one go about writing such a
driver? Is this a lost cause? Doug?
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Kris
