Digi devices and DefaultOutputUnit

  • Subject: Digi devices and DefaultOutputUnit

I don't have access to a Digi device like an Mbox or a Digi 001 so I can't test this, but I'm hoping someone on this list does.

Can someone tell me if they can get the DefaultOutputUnit working with a Digi driver? A simple test would be to fire up Rax and listen to where the output is coming from (making sure of course that it's the first audio app to use the Digi driver! :-( ).

I've got a nasty feeling the Digi drivers are telling the DefaultOutputUnit to go away even when they are not being used. My reason for this is I have a user who's able to send Reason or iTunes through their Digi 001 (depending on which is started first) but when ReVision is started first it fails to use the Digi 001 and falls back to the built-in speakers.

Thanks,

Robert.
