Along these same lines (gosh, this thread is just becoming one tangent
after another), this reminds me of something that I've meant to mention
earlie: I think that, in general, it would be good to make more of the
CoreAudio docs and headers more easily accessible. Currently, it's mostly
all contained in Apple disk image files that contain Package Maker
package files. You can't do anything with them unless you've got a Mac OS
X system. For people like Richard (and many others), this is a real
problem. I mean, I know that anyone who's going to actually build this
stuff will need a Mac anyway, but it still can be useful for people who
primarily use non-Mac computers to at least be able to browse reference
and documentation material any time.
So, just something to think about perhaps...
