AudioUnitHosting alphabetical menu patch

  • Subject: AudioUnitHosting alphabetical menu patch

I love AudioUnitHosting, it's the best quick little test AU host app,
but with the 80 or so Waves AUs and 100+ Pluggo AUs on my system,
I've been getting really tired of the huge, unsorted menu. My earlier
full-AU-name patch helped a lot, but it still sucks when you have a
gazillion AUs, so I finally patched the menu code to also alphabetize
the list.

I also got tired of the ugly, generic app icon in my doc, so I threw
together a little replacement icon, too.

If anyone wants to use my changes, I've packaged up my version of the
project here:

http://destroyfx.org/auh-marc.tar.gz

I would just paste the changed AudioUnitHosting::BuildMenuList code in
this message, but it's gotten a little long now, and also then you
wouldn't get the snazzy icon.

Marc
