there are ways to set backwards-compatibility in Xcode. i suggest you
browse the following:

in particular, check the link on cross-development. otherwise if your
app works properly in panther, there is no reason to rebuild, as far as
i know.

Two questions really
- should I recompile and re-release my AUs, which are currently built
with Project Builder for Jaguar, for the benefit of users with
Panther?
- if I do rebuild with XCode, will Jaguar users be able to use the
AUs, or will I have to maintain two builds?
