Er, I'm confused, the answer here seems obvious (to me) so I'm hesitant to
suggest it, I fear I'm missing the gist of your question.
But here goes:
If you need to represent an EQ curve graphically, my suggestion would be to
take a look at how this is done in current audio apps/plugs.
Digital Performer, Cubase, Logic etc. all have built-in plugs that provide
parametric EQ. Looking at their interface will be enlightening.
If you don't have access to those apps, you might visit the product home
pages for each, there are usually screen shots of the program some of which
might include screen shots of the EQ plug.
In addition to the stock plugs for the various audio apps, there are
third-part plugs that also do EQ. You might look for screen shots on the
Waves site and Metric Halo site among others.
If worse comes to worst, I can take some screen shots (of the DP parametric
EQ plug-in) and email them to you.
Or did I completely miss what you were asking?
