I agree 100% with Mark.

All his points about the AUs docs are correct and could save a lot of mistakes for a lot of developers. In the end this will mean better AUs and hosts, faster. Also it will reduce the support burden and volume on CoreAudio list.

For me, better docs is in higher propriety than any new AU feature.
