There's actually going to be an QuickTime update for OS X 10.2, too,

will add these improvements to AU. So it won't just be limited to
10.3.

We will also need some support from the hosts.
I hope this will give an opportunity for Emagic to improve its MIDI
routing capabilities, so effects will stay on effects slots, while
being able to receive/send MIDI...
