AudioFileReadPackets

  • Subject: AudioFileReadPackets

If I am working with Large Files say 60 minutes at 24bit, which is too
large for AudioFileReadPackets to handle in one go, would a command
line app to translate file formats be feasible using this function, but
by reading chunks of data at a time, and then writing out chunks using
AudioFileWritePackets. I will be reading from Two Mono Split Stereo
Files to One Interleaved Stereo.

AudioFileReadPackets ( AudioFileID inAudioFile,
Boolean inUseCache,
UInt32 *outNumBytes,

AudioStreamPacketDescription *outPacketDescriptions,
SInt64 inStartingPacket,
UInt32 *ioNumPackets,
void *outBuffer);

thanks,
joey
