AudioFile on 10.3/QT 6.5 reads AAC audio in an MPEG-2 container, not in an MPEG 4 container. The error your getting is 'typ?', which symbolically is kAudioFileUnsupportedFileTypeError. -- Reality is what, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. Failure is not an option. It is a privilege reserved for those who try.
