Hello,
I have wanted to make GUIs for my plug-ins for quite some time now but
everytime I have sat down to try and figure it all out I get lost. I
have downloaded Airy's AUGUI 1.7 (thanks for that!) and tried to
understand what is going on :-) Unfortunately it will not compile. In
addition I am confused with AU View, AUCarbonView, AUCarbonViewBase,
AUCarbonControl, the Control folder and all its contents in AUGUI 1.7,
AUViewBase... and so on and so forth...quite a lot of files (or at
least
for a beginner)!
Also, how do I add a Carbon "nib" to my project? I try to add a new
file
but I only get the option to add Cocoa ones. How does one add Carbon
nibs?
I don't suppose there is dummy's guide to AU GUIs. Perhaps somebody
could help me make a step by step guide which can serve as manual/guide
for future reading by other newbies.
Thanks in advance!
Aristotel
