auval could be more helpful

I am debugging a plug-in to get it to pass auval, and it's giving me messages like:

WARNING: retrievedValue = 0.500000 (was 0.000000), Parameter did not retain minimum value when set

 ERROR: Parameter did not retain set value when Initialized

As my plug-in has hundreds of parameters, it would be really helpful if auval said which parameter it was referring to - I'm having to do it the hard way by logging *all* the parameter changes and looking for the error!
