Last time I checked the IAC driver was still broken. Has it been fixed?
I create virtual devices:
- first because other applications do not provide virtual inputs.
- second because the IAC driver does not work
- third because even if it is fixed there will still be people on Jaguar and
Panther pre-IAC fix for a long time
- fourth because it is better than IAC since I can expose just one side,
simplifying the interface to others and reduce the chances that someone will
create an evil virtual MIDI loop that brings the processor to a virtual stop
- fifth I can name it according to my App so it is clear what it does to the
user
