I would like to implement a rewind button on a simple midi player but
the MusicSequenceReverse method does not give the results I was hoping
for. If I play a Midi file back through a Quicktime player in reverse I
get a quite realistic rendition of the midi file playing backwards but
with MusicSequenceReverse I'm not really sure what Im getting! It sort
of sounds in reverse but its certainly not playing backwards from the
current position. In fact the current position keeps increasing
(according to a timer calling MusicPlayerGetTime). Could someone please
tell me what is happening and roughly what steps I need to take to
actually get the midi file to play backwards?
