Just wanted to add in my two pence (or two cents for you americans):

This would be a *great* AU to have! That is, an AU that could do
timestretching would make me a very happy man :-) I've searched everywhere
to try and find a way to do this in realtime with QT or CA or otherwise, and
failed completely...
