Is an 8-channel LPCM buffer interleaved? Would I take every 8th float value to get a single channel? I'm trying to read a single channel out of this:

device name = Multichannel Delta-66
manufacturer = M-Audio
device buffer size = 16384
sample rate = 44100
format ID = lpcm
format flags = 11
bytes per packet = 32
frames per packet = 1
bytes per frame = 32
channels per frame = 8
bits per channel = 32
reserved = 39
