Just quickly glancing at the iLife website, I see that it requires at 10.2.6. I know we fixed some stuff in the later 10.2.x builds and still more stuff with QuickTime 6.5. I'd upgrade the system to whatever the latest 10.2 build is and install QT6.5 and see if you are still have problems.

Has anyone else noticed that, while GarageBand seems to recognize *some* of the non-Apple plug-ins installed in the user's system (10.2.3), if one instantiates any of the TC PowerCore plugs (by TC, or Sony, or others), the pretty windows show up just fine, but one cannot adjust anything? Thus, "make preset" is rather meaningless.

They *do* work (on each plug-in's default setting). Latency is very high.

I'm assuming GarageBand calls up the AU version, not the VST one.

Granted, not many GarageBand users will have spent $$$$ for a PowerCore system, but still..

Curious!
