Has anyone else noticed that, while GarageBand seems to recognize
*some* of the non-Apple plug-ins installed in the user's system
(10.2.3), if one instantiates any of the TC PowerCore plugs (by TC,
or Sony, or others), the pretty windows show up just fine, but one
cannot adjust anything? Thus, "make preset" is rather meaningless.

They *do* work (on each plug-in's default setting). Latency is very high.

The latency is almost certainly due to GarageBand not automatically compensating for the plugin's initial delay.

I'm assuming GarageBand calls up the AU version, not the VST one.

Correct.

Jim
