Hi Kelly,
Sorry this is off-topic...
Although I appreciate the documentation and example codes,
I personally do feel the documentation could be even improved.
I read the documentation, I compile and run example codes,
but I'm still confused. I'm just an average programmer.
In my little experience programming with xcode,
sometimes I'm frustrated because...
* Some programming topics are vague description to me.
* Some API references are vague, too.
or
* It takes much time to understand a big project of example codes
containing tens of source code files.
IMHO, one thing missing there could improve the documentation environment:
*short* example codes linked from API references.
For example, for each or a set of related messages of a class,
it'd be great to have a short example demonstrate the usage.
It may be pseudo code (but better runnable code),
just like those *short* code examples in programming language textbooks.
I guess this might help getting better understanding of the API's.
By the way, I really like the tech notes such as TN2091
http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn2002/tn2091.html
However, it'd be even better if there is a link to a compilable example.
Now I have to copy/paste the code segments and trial-and-error of compilation.
Well, you may say it's learning process... :-)
but it'd be better if I have an option to take a shortcut
and spend less time on trial-and-error.
I'd love to see a more integrated documentation environment. :-)
Thanks to Apple folks' efforts!
Stan.

I realize you're frustrated, and probably just venting, but if you're a
