MusicSequenceLoadSMFWithFlags availability?

My app gets a dyld undef'd symbol for _MusicSequenceLoadSMFWithFlags on 10.2.8 with Quicktime 6.3, but works after upgrading to QT 6.5.

I am unable to find any release note describing when this function became available, in the CoreAudio, Quicktime, or online documentation. Can somebody clue me in, what is required for this function? QT 6.4? 6.5? The connection between CA and QT is unclear to me.

Same question for MusicSequenceLoadSMF since I can drop the flag bit if this function is always available on 10.2.x.
