The issue with handling mulitple devices is clock drift. Perhaps this
is also something that Apple will be providing a neat solution for...?
This is what I think they should be working on for the next release if
they haven't for this one.
I also like your idea of having a compatibility chart. Perhaps if more
app manufacturers do this it will make the plug-in developers adhere
more closely to the specification and will also have a secondary
benefit by indicating if it is not the plug-in but rather the
application that is out of spec.
Certainly it is a standard problem that everyone wanting multi-device
support would have to address.
Hopefully someone attending the conference will keep us updated as
much as they can?
