Hmmm, now I'm not sure whether I understood the original message...
I thought that it was refering to "song start" as in the position, in
beats, of where the song starts. But it sounds like you're talking about
"song start" as in determining when the song has started playing,
potentially at any point within the song timeline. Which maybe is what
the original message was about, now I'm not sure.
But anyway, no, AU doesn't currently have such a transport changed flag
like VST does (though there are ways to derive that info anyway, but the
transport changed flag is a nice convenience in my opinion).
