It just struck me from looking at the new CA documentation that the
problem here is that the term 'beat' is being used incorrectly. All of
the fields in the various structures asking for a beat actually want a
'clock' normalized to 1.0 ppqn. Clocks are the normal time
measurements of most MIDI sequencers.
