Try to put something like that for executable name :
<path to Logic Pro>/Logic Pro 6.4.1.app/Contents/MacOS/Logic Pro
It is working for me. I suppose you can do the same for Peak or DP.

But I use either Rax or SynthTest for debugging my AUs, depending of the kind of AU.
As Urs wrote, they launch muuuuuuuch faster, which is quite appreciate in testing cycles.

I use only Logic for more deep tests or for debugging specific Logic crash. And sometimes to noises... ;-)

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll definitely try out these lighter-weight hosts.

If I run into host-specific trouble, is it simply impossible to debug certain applications under OS X? If so can anyone tell me whether this achieved by some standard method, or is it done with some clever trickery?

Regards,
Jeremy

Hiya,

Hello,

I'm working on an Audio Unit using Xcode 1.2 and OS X (10.3). I've noticed
that Xcode tells me Logic, Peak & DP are all "not launchable", so I'm unable
to debug my audio unit with a debugger. The only solutions I can imagine are

- Attaching to the processes after launching them manually, not sure how to
do this with Xcode
- Finding a simpler host that is "launchable" - this is less desirable but I
know there's at least a few more than I can try

Thanks for any help,
Jeremy
