stream/channel physical info

  • Subject: stream/channel physical info

I was hoping my software would be able to select streams or channels based
on information about the physical type of the final input or output, e.g.
whether it is analog or digital, and for digital possibly a further
breakdown into types like ADAT, AES/EBU, etc.

But I can't seem to find any properties associated with streams or channels
that would provide this kind of information. Did I miss something or is
such information really not available?

Thanks,
Kurt Bigler
