Is there any way to get a multi channel music device to work with Logic 7? I think our customers would find it unsatisfying if I tell them: "the plugin doesn't work, but that's ok...it's implemented correctly" :-).

You are doing the correct thing here - another example of this is Phatmatik
Pro from Art - he publishes mutliple stereo outputs. Its a problem in the
host apps that this valid configuration isn't being supported at this time.
