What about the quicktime update, does it have any core audio sdk stuff
in it?

I could see why you'd think that, but the answer is "no." The Xcode
1.5 version of the CoreAudio SDK is newer than the last released
stand-alone CoreAudio SDK. There's no need to install the CoreAudio
SDK if you install Xcode 1.5, and if you install it afterwards, you
would be downgrading.
