AudioFileGetProperty() reportes wrong format?!?

  • Subject: AudioFileGetProperty() reportes wrong format?!?

The Actual format:  22kHz
The Reported format: 44kHz

iTunes gets it right, but AudioFileGetProperty() gets it wrong. What am I missing?

The audio file is available here:
http://www.tricerasoft.com/downloads/tsoftcdg.zip

My debugger: (see it says 44kHz) my program plays the file like it's the Chipmunks.

iTunes: this says 22kHz, it's correct!
