I've been writing drivers lately, so I made a widget to generate UUID strings, with clipboard and drag/drop support. In case anyone wants a copy:

/usr/bin/uuidgen, anyone? :-)

I knew there were a few other app's and tools out there. This one took all of 40 minutes to write (and half of that was making the icon), plus it's easier to use. One click launches the app, one drag/drop of a new UUID into a plist or wherever, and done. I didn't want to have to launch Terminal each time, type uuidgen, double-click, copy, select, paste, etc. Plus this one lets you create a batch of them at a time, drop a clipping onto the Desktop, etc.
