Almost all the error codes the HAL returns are defined in
<CoreAudio/AudioHardware.h> or <IOKit/IOReturn.h>. There are a few
other miscellaneous ones as well, but these are where the major ones
are found.

reference library home page. Using the XCode documentation window's

search brings no results.
Am I just being stupid or is there some secret way of finding
commonplace
things in the Apple documentation?
