Hi Howard,
You only need to register Creator code, if I'm right. That's your
manufacturer ID.
Type is aufx, aumu, ... etc.
Subtype is on your choice (no need to register), but all subtypes
starting with lowercase are reserved for Apple use.

That's for registering the Creator code for individual applications,
not the type/sub-type/manufacturerID for AudioUnits.

Hi all,
I know I've seen this before several times, but I've been searching
for over an hour and can't find the info anywhere...
Where do I go to register our AudioUnit Manufacturer ID, etc., with
Apple? All I can find is a place to register the Creator ID for an
application, nothing about AudioUnits.
(And why is it so hard to find this info???)
Thanks,
Howard
