What I had to do to make it work is:
1- de-install Xcode 1.5
2- re-install Xcode 1.2
3- custom install Xcode 1.5 with the option MacOS X SDK unchecked
4- install QT 6.5.2
5- install SDK 1.3.4
This is more than is required. Firstly, you don't ever need to
de-install or re-install any versions of Xcode to solve this problem.
Once you have 1.5, just leave it be. After that, make sure you install
the latest CoreAudio SDK and latest QuickTime (in either order, just
those steps should happen afterwards). You can also install Xcode over
QT, but in that case need to deselect the Mac OS X SDK option. But if
you do Xcode over QT without doing that, then just reinstall QT.
