I think this is a problem with the SDK that was shipped with Saffron
Dev tools (xcode 2.1) with the AU resources file - have a look at the
definitions of the the TARGET settings in AUResources.h
We're hoping to have an updated release of the SDK available soon

AudioUnits SDK supplied with Tiger installation
CoreAudio also supplied with Tiger installation
