Thanks for the quick answer. Any disadvantes by switching to gcc 3.3? Worse optimization or something?

Michael,

Sounds like you are using C++ with gcc 4.0. This version uses a C++ library that is not compatible with anything before 10.3.9.

To solve this problem, compile using gcc 3.3.

Hiya,

I've recently released some updates I've build using XCode 2.1 and the 1.4.1 CoreAudio SDK on Tiger 10.4.2.

Now *some* Panther 10.3.x and some more Jaguar 10.2.x users complain that the plugins don't work anymore, whereas the old version (build with XCode 2.0 and the 1.3.6 CoreAudio SDK) worked just fine.

I've tried the new builds on Panther 10.3.9 with the latest Quicktime installed and it works just fine.

Can somebody shed some light on what might have changed that it allegidly doesn't work on OSX 10.2.x anymore? I can't test this myself as I now own a Mac mini on which Jaguard can't be installed.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Mike
