No, QuickTime does not and never has installed CoreMIDI.
It is also ill advised I think to be relying on particular versions
of QuickTime when looking for functionality in CoreAudio frameworks.
You should always check against a particular version of either the
audio unit components, the audio toolbox or core audio, core midi
frameworks.
So, what is that you want to know about CoreMIDI?
