Hi Lubor,

QuickTime does not use Core MIDI for anything, so Core MIDI is never updated with QuickTime.

Core MIDI 1.4 shipped with Mac OS X 10.3, 1.5 with 10.4.

You can fetch the Core MIDI framework version with the CFBundle APIs.

Hi Doug,
Please, how could I determine CoreMIDI version for non-developer machines? I suppose it is QT what installs Core MIDI updates. Should I call QT gestalt (as I do), but which QT installs which CoreMIDI? Or did I oversight a version checking directly in the API? I need such a relation: QT 7.0 = CM 1.4, QT 7.0.1 = CM 1.5 or so.

Thanks,

Lubor
