How to play a waveform?

  • Subject: How to play a waveform?

Forgive me for asking this question, but I have really looked in the documentation and can not find the answer.

I would like to build a waveform in memory and then play it out.

I found documentation on how to do this with the Sound Manager, but that is deprecated. I can not find the equivalent calls in Core Audio. All I could find was ways to play sound files stored on disk.

I assume there is a way to do what I want, and I'm just not finding it in the docs.

Thanks
Stephen Morgana
