I've added a bunch of code that we use in AULab to serialize its
documents - for instance a node is serialised through using the
"unit" entry - a dictionary done using CAComponent in PublicUtility.
This is also the entry used for the .austrip documents that are saved
when you drag channel strips around in AULab.
