Sending large sysex dump

  • Subject: Sending large sysex dump

Dear list!

I have some problems sending a large sysex dump to my synth.

First I send the header, F0, 0F, 02, 00, 02

Then I send the content of a memory area, the pointer to that area is
defined like this:
Byte *out_ptr;

And the code to send the memory area (code fragment)
packetPtr = MIDIPacketListAdd(&pktlist, sizeof pktlist, packetPtr, 0,
number, out_ptr);
MIDISend(gOutPort, gDest, &pktlist);
// This is 8160 bytes

Then I send F7

But the only thing that seems to be sent is the header and the F7, why is
my memory area not sent?

Best regards Peter
