QuickTime 6.5.2 will update Core Audio pieces on Jaguar as well as
Panther.

the dates on all the core audio files in the folder just mentioned

which core audio sdk version would work with this setup? (os x 10.2.6
pb 2.0.1)
The latest SDK should work (there's a couple of problems with some of
the Audio FIle stuff that we're in the proces of fixing) = you do need
the latest QT installed though to get our latest headers for parts of
this SDK to build.
also does installing any coreaudio sdk mess with
system/library/frameworks/coreaudio files or does it leave those
files completely untouched?
