Strange sample rate behaviour in AU unit

  • Subject: Strange sample rate behaviour in AU unit

Hi,

I'm testing in Logic 7.0 an Audio unit that just redirect its input to another process . The AU works correctly when used with an interface running at 44.1 Khz. (Using a Digidesign 888/24 with the Digidesign coreaudio driver)
When the 888/24 is running at 48 khz, the redirected sound become pitch shifted with an echo effect as if the AU audio callback was not called at the correct rate.
When debugging the problem, it appears that the sample rate read in the AU using the GetSample method is 44.1 kHz, instead of 48 khZ !!

Any idea?

Thanks

Stephane
