[ANN] jackdmp for MacOSX

jackdmp is a C++ version of the Jack low-latency audio server (jackit.sf.net) for multi-processor machines. It is a new implementation of the jack server core features that aims in removing some limitations of the current design. The activation system has been changed for a data flow model and lock-free programming techniques for graph access have been used to have a more dynamic and robust system.

The package contains:

- the compiled binaries
- the source code with an XCode project
- a technical report presenting the new design and implementation and dogygen generated documentation
- the components needed to use CoreAudio applications with Jack (the JackRouter Jack/CoreAudio bridge)

This is a work in progress but the implementation is now stable enough to be tried. The source code still use OSX specific API and would have to be made more generic before a Linux version could be implemented and tested.

The new design does some "important" simplifications in the Jack model. Some of these simplifications and new design decisions have consequences in the internal behaviour of the system and in the way the Jack API can be used.

The package is available at http://www.grame.fr/~letz/jackdmp.zip
