Its very transparent in that you can iterate through all of the events
in a track - see MusicPlayer.h and the MusicEventIterator

Hello,
I'm currently working on a port of an OS9 music/graphics program that
uses OMS for handling midi. In that environment I was able to gather
midi data from both real time input and playing midi tracks and then
pass that data into my graphics engine.
In OSX, I've looking at Music Player, but it's not clear whether there
is a callback function that would grant me access to all of the midi
events playing in the sequence tracks. The one available callback
seems to deal with User Data only. Is real time access possible to the
track data?
many thanks
